Cranberry apple pie is a unique type of pie made from mixing liquefied cranberries and apples into a delicious drink, then thickening it with whipped cream, and lastly baking in a pie crust. It has a nice airy texture due to the whipped cream and yeast, but a distinctly fruity flavor, and melts in your mouth when eaten>
Start by blending 2 cups cranberries until liquefied, Peel and finely chop 3 apples, then blend with 1/2 cups of milk until liquefied, Pour the two liquids together over medium heat and stir until the mixture reaches a deep brown color, add 1/2 cup caramel, and continue to stir over heat until fully melted. take off the heat and allow to cool for 5-10 minuets. Next, whip 1 cup heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form, Pour the whipped cream into the apple-cranberry mixture and stir. After the mix is fully cooled, add 3 tbsp yeast and 1 cup flour and stir. Once the mixture is completely mixed together, put it in a covered bowl and wait 6-8 hours for it to rise. Once the filling has risen, put it in a pie crust and shape to form crust. Enjoy your fresh cranberry apple pie!
