Bruno del Pino Ventos (born 20 June 2006) is a Spanish racing driver who is currently competing in the 2024 Eurocup-3 season for MP Motorsport. He is the nephew of Formula One driver, Pedro de la Rosa.
He is set to compete in the 2025 FIA Formula 3 Championship with MP Motorsport.
Career
[edit]Karting
[edit]He began in competitive karting career in 2017. He entered in various high profile karting events such as the European and World FIA championships . He had a best finish of 5th in the 2018 IAME Winter Cup in the X30 Mini category and 9th in the 2020 CIK FIA European championship. The Spaniard also finished in 9th in the 2021 WSK Open Cup in the OK category.[1]
Formula 4
[edit]Del Pino made his Formula 4 debut in the 2022 F4 Spanish Championship with his uncles team, Drivex School, partnering Maksim Arkhangelskiy and Gaël Julien. He finished the season in 16th with 24 points.[2]
He also represented Team Spain at the 2022 FIA Motorsport Games for the Formula 4 Cup, he qualified in 11th, came 5th in the qualifying race, and then came 3rd in the main race.[3][4][5][6]
Eurocup-3
[edit]2023
[edit]Del Pino made the step up to the newly formed 2023 Eurocup-3 with MP Motorsport, partnering Mari Boya, Sebastian Øgaard, Sebastian Gravlund and José Garfias.[6][7] Despite getting no podiums, poles or wins, he had a very consistent season, scoring points in every race of the season, bar the exception of two races, where he retired from one of them. This performance gave him the rookies' title.[8]
2024
[edit]For 2024 Del Pino remained in the 2024 Eurocup-3 season in which he finished with 3 victories, 8 podiums, 1 pole position and 3 fastest laps and finishing 3rd in the overall standings in the Eurocup 3 series with the same team. [8]
Formula Regional
[edit]2023
[edit]Del Pino made his debut in the Formula Regional European Championship driving for MP Motorsport in the 7th round in the Red Bull Ring.[9][10] He came in 21st and 16th, and finished in 32nd in the championship standings.
2024
[edit]He also joined MP Motorsport to compete in the 2024 Formula Regional Middle East Championship, and finished in the championship 16th in the drivers standings with 18 points.[8]
FIA Formula 3 Championship
[edit]Del Pino makes the step up to FIA Formula 3 for 2025, continuing his relationship with MP Motorsport.[11]
