Asteria Aerospace Limited (formerly Asteria Aerospace Private Limited) is a robotics and artificial intelligence company that designs and manufactures drones.[1] Its headquarters are located in Bengaluru, India.[2]

History
[edit]In June 2011, Neel Mehta and Nihar Vartak founded Asteria Aerospace with the idea of developing drones for defence applications.[4] Later, Reliance Industries’ arm Jio Platforms acquired a majority stake of the company in December, 2019.[5]
It has built three Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) certified drones including A200, which recieved the India's first micro category drone certification in October, 2022.[6][7] The other two drones are A200-XT and A410-XT.[8]
Technologies
[edit]In March 2022, It launched SkyDeck an end-to-end cloud-based drone software platform that has a unified dashboard and offers services for drone fleet management which include scheduling and executing the flights, data processing, visualization and AI-based analysis of aerial data collected using drones.[9]
