Alexander Smirnov is an FBI informant. In February 2024, he was charged with lying to the FBI in June 2020 about the links between President Joe Biden, his son Hunter, and the Ukrainian energy company Burisma. He claimed that in 2015 or 2016, the company paid both Hunter and Joe Biden $5 million each.[1][2]
