The 2024 AFL Grand Final officially known as the 2024 Toyota AFL Grand Final is an upcoming Australian rules football match to determine the winner of the 2024 Toyota AFL Premiership Season. It will be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on 28 September 2024.[1][2]

[edit]The AFL Grand Final is an Australian rules football match to determine the premiers for the Australian Football League (AFL) season. It is traditionally staged on the afternoon of the last Saturday in September, at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. As the premier match of the AFL season, it attracts one of the largest audiences in Australian sport, regularly attracting a crowd of more than 100,000 and a television audience of millions.
The Friday before the grand final (27 September) will be a public holiday in Victoria, known as "Friday before AFL Grand Final".[3]
