The National Football League playoffs for the 2024 season will begin on January 11, 2025, and will conclude with Super Bowl LIX on February 9 at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Format
[edit]Playoff scenarios
[edit]As of November 29, 2024 (the week 13, Friday games)[update], the following teams have qualified for the playoffs:

- Detroit will clinch a playoff berth with losses from Arizona, San Francisco, and Seattle AND either a Tampa Bay loss OR losses from Atlanta and Washington.
Media coverage
[edit]All four broadcast partners will air at least one Wild Card round game, with CBS and Fox airing an AFC and NFC Wild Card game, respectively. NBC will air the Sunday night game under the fourth year of its seven-year deal.[4][5][6] ESPN/ABC will broadcast the Monday night Wild Card game, its fourth in a five-year deal.[7][8] CBS will air a second game in the wild card round as part of its rotation with Fox and NBC; one of CBS' Wild Card games will have an alternative broadcast on Nickelodeon.[9]
Amazon Prime Video will exclusively air a Wild Card playoff game for the first time during the 2024 season (it previously simulcast one CBS Wild Card playoff games on the platform in the 2021 and 2022 seasons), purchasing the rights to the game that was aired exclusively by Peacock last season.[10][11]
This will be the second season that all four broadcast television partners air one divisional playoff game per season (ESPN/ABC, Fox, CBS, and NBC).[12]
CBS and Fox will have the AFC Championship Game and NFC Championship Game respectively.
Fox will televise Super Bowl LIX in the annual rotation of Super Bowl broadcasters.[13]
Peacock will stream all NBC' games. All of CBS' games will stream on Paramount+, and all ESPN/ABC's games will stream on ESPN+. The league's streaming service NFL+ will stream every postseason game on mobile devices only, regardless of broadcaster.
International coverage
[edit]Prior the 2023 season, DAZN signed a ten-year agreement to distribute the NFL Game Pass International service, which offered live NFL playoff games.[14] In select countries, the NFL has also signed local media rights deals as follows:
