Dominic Littlewood (born 29 March 1965 in Southend-on-Sea, Essex)[citation needed] is a British television presenter and journalist who specialises in consumer affairs.

Early life

From 1976 to 1981, Littlewood attended St Thomas More High School for Boys, Westcliff-on-Sea . Littlewood was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes[1] in his teenage years, and takes insulin to keep his diabetes under control.[2] He broke his neck while back packing around the world and underwent emergency surgery for a spinal fusion of his C5 and C6, from which he made a full recovery. He also twisted his ankle when slipping on a wet floor during a visit to Tate Britain.

Outside TV

Littlewood was first seen on TV as a contestant on the BBC dating show The Other Half.[4] Littlewood contributes to Top Gear Magazine, and has written pieces for the Motoring section of The Daily Telegraph.

Personal life

Littlewood won the celebrity sprint for BBC One's Comic Relief. He broke his C5 vertebra in his neck in an accident in Australia, which required recovery in a Jordan frame in both Rockhampton, Queensland and Southend-on-Sea.[5]
