Derrick Tribbett (Born December 18, 1974) is an American musician better known by his stage names Tripp Lee and Sinister. Tribbett is also known for his role on the reality show Daisy of Love starring former Rock of Love 2 contestant Daisy De La Hoya.

Career

Tribbett was a member of the band Twisted Method[1] until it disbanded in 2005 and formed the band Makeshift-Romeo shortly after.[2] He was the bassist and provided backing vocals for the band Dope.[3][4]

Tribbett has recently started his own hip-hop group with fellow Daisy of Love contestant and friend Chi Chi, named after his Daisy of Love nickname "Sinister".

Daisy of Love

Tribbet was a contestant on the VH1 show Daisy of Love. Tribbet went under the alias Sinister on the show.[5][6] He was eliminated the July 12, 2009 episode, the tenth episode in the twelve episode series (not counting the clip show). He placed fourth overall.

I Love Money

Tribbet would have been a contestant on the third season of the VH1 Show "I Love Money" which takes contestants from other VH1 shows such as Rock of Love, Real Chance of Love, I Love New York, Daisy of Love, and Megan Wants a Millionaire and to be aired in January 2010. However, the show was canceled before airing because of one Ryan Jenkins' involvement in the murder of his wife and suicide.

Family

Tribbett is the younger brother of Greg Tribbett, the guitarist of metal bands Mudvayne and Hellyeah. One of his other brothers is a drum technician for the American metal band Slipknot. He also has a brother who played bass for a band called Dead End Asylum from the Fort Myers area of Florida. He is known by the name Diggy. Diggy resides in Lee County, Florida. He has an eight year old daughter named Savannah.
