I Can't Believe It's Yogurt

I Can't Believe It's Yogurt was founded in 1977[1] and was later acquired by Yogen Früz[2] in 1996. The brand is now part of CoolBrands International.

Fraud case

In 1999, several Brice Foods executives were indicted on investment fraud and conspiracy charges.[3] The charges related to two main issues: First was misappropriation of investor funds and defaulting on promissory notes back to 1992, while the other related charges alleged that a murder in one of the store's franchises was used to create a "loss gap" through an insurance case that would send money to top company executives.[4] In 2000, the company settled for close to $12 million.[5]
