Bonvesin de la Riva (sometimes spelt Bonvesino or Buonvicino) (born c. 1240, died c. 1313) was an Italian friar of the Ordine degli Umiliati (Italian, literally, order of the humble ones) and one of the greater Lombard poets and writers of the 13th century.
