Template:Big Brother housemates

Big Brother Africa 4 (also known as Big Brother Africa: The Revolution) is the fourth series of the Big Brother Africa reality television series produced by Endemol. The series begun airing on September 6, 2009 for 91 days, until the final on December 6, 2009 on M-Net. Nigerian television star IK Osakioduwa is the new host for the series. 14 housemates from 14 different countries will compete until one is left standing to claim the prize fund of $200,000.[1]

Format

This year's format has changed from past seasons. [2] Some of the changes are:

  • Housemates are now allowed to freely discuss nominations.
  • The public will vote to save, not voting to evict.
  • The winner receives $200,000.

Housemates

Fourteen countries that include Angola, Botswana, Ethiopia, Ghana, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe will participate in this year's series. [1] On Day 0, tweleve all-male housemates entered the House.

Edward/Erastus

Edward Moongo is a 33 year old Public Relations Officer from Namibia. Erastus Moongo is Edward's twin also from Namibia. The twins will swap places every few days, and must keep this up secretly for four weeks. If they are caught by four housemates, the twins will play as one for the rest of the game. If they succeed the task, they will play individually.

Hannington

Hannington Kuteesa is a 23 year old student from Uganda.

Itai

Itai Makumbe is a 31 year old student from Zimbabwe.

Jeremy

Jeremy Ndirangu is a 22 year old developer from Kenya.

Kaone

Kaone Ramontshonyana is a 2 6 year old Principal Youth Officer from Botswana.

Kevin

Kevin Chuwang is a 27 year old entertainer from Nigeria.

Leonel

Leonel Estevoa is a 23 year old IT administrator from Mozambique.

Phil

Filbert Okure is a 25 year old Marketing Consultant from Uganda.

Quinn

Quinn Siebe is a 21 year old Media Diploma student from South Africa.

Teddy

Edward Muthusi is a 38 year old developer from Kenya.

Wayoe

George Wayoe is a 34 year old web developer from Ghana.

Yacob

Yacob Yehdego is a 28 year old assistant manager from Ethiopia.
