BAND HISTORY

In 1985, following the end of LOVE HOUSE, guitar player Tetsu and drummer Yuji started BELLZLLEB in Chiba, Japan. They recruited Rick, the loudest, wildest bass player in the area and Koizumi singing Ozzy and Black Sabbath covers in a local band. Their first Mini Flexi sheet, "Satanic Metal" was released in 1986 with limited press of 1000 copies that contained live recordings at KAGURAZAKA EXPLOSION. This increased fan base leading to another record, Heavy Metal Force Ⅳ", a V/A live recording in 1987 by Explosion Records in Tokyo. When Koizumi left for musical differences in 1987, Ex-Hardwave singer Rei was recruited to increase their frequency and coverage of gigs across Japan. As Yuji left in 1988, the first album release was delayed until Fumi was recruited to record their first self titled album, "BELLZLLEB" in 1989 from Nude Records. Rick left in 1989 due to musical differences and replaced by Mataro to record the following album, "SectionII/ある愚者の生涯" from CAPTAIN RECORDSin 1990. Mataro and Fumi left the band following this recording and a 2 song acoustic album "Inori/祈り" was released between Tetsu and Rei. In 1991, Ex-Rosenfeld bass player Takami and drummer Kimura were recruited and recorded their final album, Mr.REE~傀儡とSAD~,before the disbanding of BELLZLLEB in 1992.
