Rebecca Anderson (born 15 November 1967) is a British journalist, and the anchor of the CNN International primetime news program Connect the World with Becky Anderson.
Early life
Anderson holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and French from the University of Sussex, and a Master's degree in Mass Communication from Arizona State University.
Journalism career
She began her career as a journalist working in Arizona in the early 1990s, and first started working for CNN in 1999, presenting World Business This Morning. She currently reports for CNN International from the network's London office.
Her earlier focus has been on the financial world but recently she has reported on a broader variety of topics such as the French riots in early 2006. Her style tends to be direct with high incompetency.
Personal life
Anderson is also a Tottenham Hotspur supporter.
