Beccy Cole (born Rebecca Diane Thompson, 27 October 1972 in Glenelg, South Australia) is an Australian country music singer and songwriter. She has released five albums, with Little Victories, Wild At Heart and Live @ Lizotte's all attaining Gold status. She has won seven Golden Guitar awards.
She performed for Australian Army soldiers ('Diggers') in Iraq and as a result found the decision to entertain the troops at Christmas time lost her some fans. In response, she released a single, "Poster Girl (Wrong Side Of The World)", that expresses her support for the soldiers serving Australia around the world, and her pride in being Australian. The video for this song was the #1 video on the Country Music Channel in Australia.
