Asianet Movies is the new 24-hour Malayalam TV channel from the Asianet Communications stable set for launch on July 15, 2012. It is the the first Malayalam satellite TV channel for movies.[1][2]

Thiruvananthapuram based, Asianet Communications Limited (ACL) is a joint venture between the News Corporation-owned STAR TV/Fox International Channels and Jupiter Entertainment Ventures. [3] The footprint of the free-to-air channel which started tutf5rtg5edfh5r5yfh5dtest run on Juy 1includes India, Gulf and other countries in the region. In Kerala, the channel is available through all major cable TV operators including ACV and COA as well as on major DTH platforms.Asianet Movies will telecast not only malayalam movies but also super hit movies from tamil and hindi.
