"Arma-goddamn-motherfuckin-geddon"
Song

"Arma-Goddamn-Motherfuckin-Geddon" was the first official single released by Marilyn Manson from their May 29th, 2009 album The High End of Low. It is set to have the album version, a Radio edited version, titled "Armageddon" and a remix by the Teddybears. The album was released for download on May 5, 2009, along with the pre-order of The High End of Low.

Marilyn Manson says about the song on June's Revolver issue:

It’s the song that I 100%, absolutely would never believe a record company would want to release as a single. Half the point of writing it was just to piss them off. That’s the type of thing that comes out of my mouth on a regular basis. Some people think I have a chromosome disorder in my brain, so I make up words and phrases that are ridiculous. I say it’s a “superhero special feature."

Reception

Metal Hammer describes "Arma-goddamn-motherfuckin-geddon" as

having "Heavy basslines, a stomping back-beat and a very traditionally Manson glam-chorus are the order of the day. It's this glam rock tinge that really shines through on the track, nodding to his penchant for decadent 70's rock but with an old school Manson industrial shade.(...) He may not be as dangerous as he once appeared but it is good to hear Mazza using one of those many middle fingers he was born with once again."[3]

Thrash Hits gave the song a positive review, saying "‘Arma-Goddamn-Motherfucking-Geddon’ rides Ramirez’s rubbery honk of a bassline into a fist-pumping, glam-stomp of a chorus.", and including it as one of the top tracks of the album.[4]

Music video

Behind the scene photos of the video being filmed show that the video may be similar to the Antichrist Superstar video/live performances. Showing Manson singing at a podium only instead of the shock symbol it seems to show what resembles a dollar sign. The video was directed by Delaney Bishop. On May 14, the video premiered on NME.com.[5]

On May 28, 2009, the edited version of the video was available for download on iTunes.

In August 2009, the "Director's Cut" version appeared on Delaney Bishop's blog.
