Mughal was born on 1 Jan 1990 in [[Rajouri]], [[Jammu and Kashmir]], India. Her father, Mohd Isahaq Mughal, is an ex army officer, while her mother Asiya Mughal, is a home maker. Mughal completed her schooling in Jammu and Kashmir and then moved to Mumbai to pursue a modeling career. Mughal made her acting debut in 2014 Bollywood film ''[[Ya Rab]]'', in which she played the role of Amreen opposite [[Ajaz Khan]]. While pursuing her schooling she was selected as child model for clothing, and then she did over 1000 ads followed with multiple theater acts at teen level. Mughal represented multiple brands such as Malabar Gold as Kashmiri.
