The lined conger[3] (Bathycongrus guttulatus) is an eel in the family Congridae (conger/garden eels).[4] It was described by Albert Günther in 1887, originally under the genus Congromuraena.[5] It is a marine, deep water-dwelling eel which is known from the western Indian Ocean to the southwestern Pacific Ocean, including Indonesia and Hawaii. It dwells at a depth range of 270–1270 metres.[4]
