Aranmula Kottaram, also known as Aranmula Mangattu Kottaram, is a palace located in the town of Aranmula in Kerala, India. The palace holds significant historical and religious importance.
Aranmula Kottaram serves as a halting point for the Thiruvabharanam Khosha Yatra ceremonial procession,[1][dubious – discuss] in which holy ornaments of Ayyappan are carried between Pandalam Palace and Sabarimala, the deity's temple. The palace is situated on the bank of the Pamba River,[2] close to the Aranmula Parthasarathy Temple. The palace is a residence for members of the royal family.
