Xixiu Miao (Chinese: 西秀苗语)[2] is a small Miao language of China that is closely related to Hmong: Hmong, Small Flowery Miao, and Xixiu are listed as the three local dialects of the Chuanqiandian Cluster of the West Hmongic languages.[3] There are only 300 speakers, in the Xixiu District of Anshun Prefecture, Guizhou Province.[1]

- ^ There is no established name in English. "Xixiu" is the name of the representative place where it is spoken. In Chinese, it is called 川黔滇方言川黔滇次方言第三土语 "the third local dialect of the Chuanqiandian subdialect of the Chuanqiandian dialect [of Miao]", but it is not the only variety of Miao to have gone by that description.
