Andrew Kishore

Andrew Kishore is a popular playback singer in Bangladesh. He is a recipient of seven National Film Awards in the best playback singer category.

Background

After the Bangladesh Liberation War, Andrew was enlisted with Rajshahi betar in the categories of Nazrul, Tagore, modern, folk and patriotic songs. In 1977, he was offered to perform a modern song under veteran music director Debu Bhattacharya in Dhaka. In recent times Andrew is busy with his Probaho Media, a production house, which produces TV plays, commercials and other productions. [1]
