Amla Sadarpur Secondary School (Bengali: আমলা সদরপুর মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়) is a secondary school affiliated to Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education , Jashore and Technical Education Board located in Amla of Amla Union of Mirpur Upazila of Kushtia District. The school was established in 1899.[2][6] The school is one of the oldest schools in Kushtia district. In 2022, the school received the best school award in the Mirpur upazila.[3]

The school is located in Amla, headquarters of Amla Union , Mirpur Upazila , Kushtia District. The distance of the school from Mirpur city is 9 km and the distance from Kushtia city is 22 km. Amla Government College is located on the west side of the school and Amla Union office is on the south side.
History[edit]
In 1899, a school named Amla Sadarpur Bahumukhi High School was established at Amla in Amla Union of Mirpur Upazila of Kushtia District . Later the school was renamed Amla Sadarpur Secondary School.[1] The school was founded by Janaki Nath Saha. ו[3][2] In 2001, the school was accredited by the Bangladesh Technical Education Board.[5]
