Alexa Helen Nikolas (born April 4, 1992) is an American teen actress known for her role as Nicole Bristow; the peppy, boy crazy character in the Nickelodeon series Zoey 101.

Early life

Nikolas was born in Chicago, Illinois. She is of Greek descent on her mother's side of the family, and from New Zealand on her father's side.

Acting career

Nikolas is best known for her role as Nicole Bristow in the Nickelodeon series Zoey 101 which she co-starred in along with Jamie Lynn Spears, Kristin Herrera (season 1), and Victoria Justice (season 2) during the show's first two seasons. She also appeared in Vanessa Anne Hudgens's music video "Come Back to Me" and guest starred in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, among various other television series.

She was offered the role of Alex Russo on Disney Channel's Wizards of Waverly Place, but lost the role to Selena Gomez.

She is also a major character in the 2009 film 'Fired Up,' her first major film.

Personal life

After Jamie Lynn Spears's pregnancy became public, Nikolas was recorded by TMZ saying, "I really hope she makes more responsible decisions in her future because that's intense. That's a child!" The actresses are not talking to each other for right now, and it hasn't been confirmed when the feud will end.
