The 1975 World Series of Poker (WSOP) was a series of poker tournaments held from May 6 to May 10, 1975 at Binion's Horseshoe.[1]

Main Event

There were 21 entrants to the main event.[3] Each paid $10,000 to enter the winner-take-all tournament.[4] Roberts and Hooks had agreed to split the first-place prize, which was unknown to Horseshoe owner Benny Binion.[5]
