The 2023–24 Abilene Christian Wildcats men's basketball team represented Abilene Christian University during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Wildcats, led by third-year head coach Brette Tanner, played their home games at Moody Coliseum in Abilene, Texas as members of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). They finished the season 16–18, 10–10 in WAC play, to finish in a tie for sixth place. As the No. 7 seed in the WAC tournament, they lost to Stephen F. Austin in the first round.[1] They received an invitation to the CIT, where they defeated Texas A&M–Corpus Christi in the first round,[2] before losing to fellow WAC member Tarleton in the quarterfinals.[3]

Previous season

The Wildcats finished the 2022–23 season 13–17, 7–11 in WAC play, to finish in ninth place.[4] In the first round of the WAC tournament, they were defeated by California Baptist.[5]
