  1. ^ Subotić was born in Banja Luka, SFR Yugoslavia (now Bosnia and Herzegovina), but was raised in Germany from the age of five and then the United States from the age of 10, and also qualified to represent Serbia internationally through his parents. He represented the United States at U-17 and U-20 level before making his international debut for Serbia in March 2009.
