Łącznik [ˈwɔnt͡ʂɲik] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Biała, within Prudnik County, Opole Voivodeship, in southern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) north-east of Biała, 18 km (11 mi) north-east of Prudnik, and 28 km (17 mi) south-west of the regional capital Opole. Historically located in Upper Silesia, in the Prudnik Land.
The name of the village is of Polish origin and comes from the word łąka, which means "field".[2]
