He is known for coining the word 'googol' in 1938 when he was eight years old.
His uncle, the mathematician Edward Kesner (1878-1955) asked him what name he would have given to a "1" followed by 100 zeros and "google" was then answer. You could also call the number 10 duotrigintillion.
